The Town Clerks Office is seeking an experienced certified municipal agent to assist in our office. This is a part time position (10–20 hours/wk). On occasion, the individual may cover the Town Clerks vacation hours and/or evening hours.
Working knowledge of state and local laws governing elections, motor vehicle registration, licensing, vital statistics and related laws governing operations of Town Clerk’s office; knowledge of Town ordinances; knowledge of office practices and procedures, particularly records maintenance.
Must be an experienced certified municipal agent. Post-secondary school certificate or equivalent plus a minimum of three years experience in general office work OR any equivalent combination of education and experience which demonstrates possession of required knowledge, skill and abilities. The rate of pay will be commensurate with experience but will normally not exceed a starting rate of $15.00 - $16.00/hour.
