Construction of Milford Ambulance's new facility began on April 22, 2013. The project was completed November 25, 2013 per schedule and on budget. Milford Ambulance moved in and began operating out of the new station on December 2, 2013.The facility is 8,200 square feet and cost $1.7 million.

Facility Features:
   -Training Room with seating for 32 to be used by the department or community.
   -Four 39.5 x 16 Ambulance Bays. Each bay has a drain with an oil/water separater adhering to EPA guidelines which allows for washing department vehicles inside.
   -The bay is equipped with a Pre-Emption system, allowing control of the traffic light at Elm and West St. to help with responding quicker.
   -The station has 6 dormitory rooms for sleeping quarters.
   -Exercise Room equipped with a treadmill, weight machine, and stereo.
   -Conference Room equipped with the base radio, computer for crew use, a television, and conference table and chairs.
   -There is an office designated for the full time staff as well as the billing department.
   -A fully functional kitchen with stove, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and kitchen table and chairs. Attached to that is the crew room furnished with 2 couches, 2 recliners, and a television.
   -In the Bay we have a decontamination room which has separate washing machine for soiled lines and clothing as well as a shower separate from normal bathrooms and showers.

Milford Ambulance also received 2 brand new top of the line ambulances on December 12, 2013. The ambulance are twin XL Chiefs from Braun. They are equipped with Center Mount stretchers, On-Spot chain system for bas weather, in addition to being designed for patient and crew safety in mind.
