Political Candidates: Where and How to Place Political Signs in Milford

Its election season (Primary Day is Tuesday, September 9th and General Election is Tuesday, November 4th) and as information to all candidates placing political signs, Milford’s Sign Regulations (contained in the Zoning Ordinance) govern this type of sign in accordance with the State of New Hampshire RSA 664:17 Placement and Removal of Political Advertising.

NH RSA 664:17 states:

1.    No political advertising shall be placed on or affixed to any public property;

Water Main Replacement

The Town of Milford Water Utilities Department will begin replacing the water main on Olive and Linden Streets the week of August 18 and continue approximately three weeks.  These streets will be closed to through traffic during construction.  Access for local residents will be maintained to the best of our abilities.

McLane and Goldman Dams Public Information Meeting

The Town of Milford will hold a public information meeting on September 10, 2014 at 6:30 pm in the Milford Town Hall auditorium at One Union Square in Milford, NH to discuss a Draft Feasibility Report that evaluates the potential removal of the McLane and Goldman Dams on the Souhegan River in Milford, NH.  This meeting will also serve as an opportunity to identify consulting parties and provide public information on the historic evaluation conducted in accordance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966.  Paper copies of the Draft Report are available for
