Land Use Assistant I / Permit Technician

The Town of Milford is seeking qualified and motivated applicants to fill the part-time position (27.5 hours per week) of Land Use Assistant I / Permit Technician to perform a full range of technical and administrative duties in support of the Building, Code Enforcement, and Zoning departments within the Community Development Office. The position is responsible for the receipt, examination/review, and management of applications for building and related permits. This is a highly visible position within the departments providing administrative services and information to the public.

This is a highly visible position that performs advanced and complex clerical and administrative duties in support of the Department. Applicants must be highly organized and possess a thorough knowledge of general office practices/procedures and the ability to effectively communicate with other municipal departments and the public.

The Milford Department of Public Works is seeking qualified individual(s) to fill the position(s) of Truck Driver / Laborer within our Public Works Department. These position(s) are full time (40/hrs/wk) positon(s) reporting directly to the General Foreman or Highway Manager.
