The Town of Milford has a vibrant business community, which significantly contributes to the character of Milford. In an attempt to recognize some of our outstanding local businesses the Milford Planning Board would like to invite you to take this opportunity to nominate one of our local businesses for a Distinguished Site of the Year Award. Winners will be honored at the December, 2015 Planning Board meeting and through the local media.

The Town of Milford, NH has been advised by Monadnock Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) that they are withdrawing their agreement to purchase a major portion of BROX Industrial Land. MEDC stated that their client has reviewed their business plan and determined they require a larger parcel of land to accommodate anticipated future growth. Mark Bender, Town Administrator, reported that the Town is very disappointed that the BROX parcel is unsuitable for this enterprise.
The Planning Board is responsible for the development and implementation of Milford’s long-range Master Planning efforts, the formulation of local land use ordinances and regulations, and the approval of land use applications.
The Planning Board meets at least twice a month: 1st Tuesdays of the month for a worksession and the 3rd Tuesday for their regular hearings meeting and additional Tuesday night worksessions as necessary.
