The Milford Planning Board is taking nominations for the 4th Annual Distinguished Site Award. This award is to recognize an outstanding Milford business location. The Milford Planning Board has completed a regulatory audit of the Town’s Zoning Ordinance and Development Regulations. The purpose of this audit, was to assess how consistent existing regulations are with implementing the vision and action program identified in the 2010 Housing Chapter of the Milford Master Plan. Chronology of the BROX Community Lands – A History of Commitment by the Town
Late 1990’s: The Brox Company approached the Town in the late 1990's to see if the Town was interested in purchasing 320 acres of undeveloped property. The BROX Company provided conceptual subdivision plans for approximately 90 new homes. The Town authorized a study committee to analyze the cost/benefit of Town ownership.
