The Milford Police Department is seeking qualified applicants to fill the position of full-time Administrative Assistant. Hours are 3:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. – Monday thru Friday.  Excellent computer skills to include Microsoft Office and Windows are required as well as the ability to accurately type reports, correspondence, etc.  This position is covered by the Teamsters Collective Bargaining Agreement.  The successful candidate must be dependable and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Completion of HS or GED equivalent including or supplemented by education and experience in office procedures, word processing and data entry plus at least one year of experience in a professional office setting with strong customer service skills required, or any combination of education and experience which demonstrates possession of the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Good communication and organizational skills are essential to this position as is the ability to maintain confidential information.  This is a non-exempt, Grade 11 position on the Town’s wage range schedule with a starting salary of $14.50 - $16.00/hr depending on experience and qualifications and includes all Town benefits.
