Recreation Commission

Mission Statement

The mission of the Milford Recreation Commission is to serve as advocates on behalf of the Milford community in promoting recreation and leisure activities for all ages and interests by:

  1. Providing a forum for communication and coordination of recreation programs and issues:

  2. Assisting the Board of Selectmen and Recreation Department with recommendations for best utilization of existing park and recreation facilities;

  3. Assisting the Board of Selectmen and Recreation Department with recommendations for implementing appropriate recreation programs;

  4. Providing recommendations for long-range community recreation capital improvements.

The Recreation Commission meets 2nd Wednesday of every month  at 7:00 PM  in the Selectmen Meeting Room at Town Hall - The public is welcome to attend all meetings.

The Recreation Commission is currently looking for new members. If interested, contact the Recreation Department at recreation@milford.nh.gov
