Public Works

The Public Works Department operates and maintains various town services to enhance the quality of life in Milford. Vital services include: providing water resources & conservation, maintenance & preservation of our parks and trees, environmental resources & outreach, repairing streets and sidewalks, administering construction and capital improvement projects, and assisting with transportation, traffic and parking management issues.

The Town of Milford, Public Works Department takes great pride in its work. The Department believes by working together it can continue to provide and increase the level of service for you, our customers.

 

The Next Household Hazardous Collection and Electronics Collection  Date will be Saturday, May 4, 2013 ~ 8:00am-12:00pm, Milford Public Works Garage 289 South Street, Milford

User Fees = $10 (Up to 10 gallons or 20 pounds)

Cash or check accepted

If you only bring household hazardous waste, please make your check payable to "NRSWMD"

If you only bring electronics, you do not have to pay the $10 user fee. Please make your check payable to "RMG". Electronics pricing can be found at www.nashuarpc.org/hhw

If you bring both household hazardous waste and electronics you will have to pay a $10 user fee plus the price of your electronics. Please make your $10 user fee check payable to "NRSWMD"

Carpooling is encouraged. If you and your neighbors collectively have less than 10 gallons or 20 pounds of material and you carpool in one vehicle, you will only be charged $10 total.
