Milford Conservation Commission
Do you have an interest in the environment? The Milford Conservation Commission always welcomes new members dedicated to help us in our mission: “……. to encourage the sound management of Milford’s natural resources for current and future generations.” We are involved in a variety of activities, such as trail construction and repair, stewardship of protected land and review of applications for work in wetlands. No experience is necessary; we provide opportunities for interested members to attend workshops during the year to learn more about the environment. The Commission meets on the second Thursday of each month at 7 PM in the Selectmen’s Meeting Room of the Town Hall.
If you think you would be interested in helping out or would just like to learn a little more about what we do, come to a meeting, call 249-0628, or view our Conservation web page. Then fill out the Volunteer Application Form and bring it to the Town Administrator's office in Town Hall.
