1 Open Meeting

2. Approval of Minutes from December. Check if all minutes have been submitted to Town Hall.

3 old Business

A Milford Recycling Center Historical Data:  George will update the recent years of solid waste and recycling data to better inform the committee what materials are increasing and decreasing and where attention for waste minimization can be directed going forward. 

B. Plan for accommodating & encouraging disposal of food waste in compost piles

C. Communication with SAU 40 Superintendent

D. Approval of warrant article on the ballot for the creation of a Revolving Fund for the Transfer Station. Summary of Selectmen's meeting.

F. Education via Social Media-- Waste items that need promoting/clarification? Hours of Still Good shed? Need for additional volunteer coverage?

4.  New Business

Copies of 2008 Aries Engineering Report and future plan for Recycling & Solid Waste Center. The last time improvements were researched. Discussion.

Plan Earth Day Education Event to focus on Composting and Textiles.

5. Next meeting

 

The next meeting will be Feb Dec 21, 2023 at 1830.  Location at the DPW Office on South Street.
