Selectmens Candidate Forum February 21, 2024

Board of Selectmen Candidate Forum on Wednesday, February 21st in the Board of Selectmen’s Meeting room at the Town Hall at 6:00 pm.  Snow date, Wednesday, February 28th in the Board of Selectmen’s meeting room at the Town Hall at 6:00 pm.

The forum is for all candidates running for a Board of Selectman Position at the March 12, 2024 town election. This meeting will be televised.

Dave Alcox will be the moderator. Dave will have a list of questions that he will ask the candidates. Questions will be pertinent to the office of the Selectman. Candidates will not be allowed to provide their own questions. Each candidate will have an equal amount of time for opening and closing statements, approximately 5 minutes. Questions will not be taken from anyone in the audience.

The candidates will answer the questions in a clear concise professional manner to the best of their knowledge. This is not a debate, it allows candidates for public office to express their views openly so that citizens watching can understand their positions and make informed voting choices.
