Milford Board of Selectmen Meeting Room
The Milford Board of Selectmen will hold a public hearing to accept unanticipated revenue from the State of New Hampshire and discuss the use of the funds. The Town of Milford has been awarded $182,960.44 as its share of unrestricted municipal aid to towns and cities. The funds can be used to reduce the 2019 property tax rate or used for other municipal purposes. The intent of the public hearing is to solicit public input into the use of these funds.
The Town of Milford will receive a similar amount next year. This will be included as anticipated revenue in our 2020 budget. These funds can be used to reduce the 2020 property tax rate or appropriated in the operating budget.
