Upcoming Events for the Conservation Commission

GHOST TRAIN RACES 2024 ….ALL ABOARD FOR THE OCTOBER 14-15 TRIP!!!!!
Thanks for being on this team of incredible volunteers.  I can't imagine what Milford and the Ghost Train Trail Races would look like without the efforts of you volunteers.  Thank you to those of you who can help this year.  Those of you who couldn't, you were missed.  The runners were excited and nervous - sounds a lot like me, actually. As most of you know, your hours of volunteering result in an excellent race that the ultra-runners look forward to. While volunteering at a race yesterday, I kept overhearing references that yesterday’s race was part of their training program for the Ghost Train, which would inevitably spark reminiscing of previous Ghost Train races.  THIS IS BECAUSE YOU!!  And I spoke with a walker on the Rail Trail this morning who is still excited about the new tunnel and parking area at Melendy Rd – again thanks to YOU!!
